IntelliTec’s Automotive Technician Programs in Colorado Springs, Grand Junction and Pueblo are Official Snap-on Partners
Press Release – For Immediate Release
Colorado Springs, Colorado – IntelliTec College is an official Snap-on Partner, offering training and certification in the use of Snap-on equipment. Snap-on tools are used in virtually every automotive repair facility in America. Therefore, students possessing this specialized training may be considered more marketable in the workforce and can be better prepared for their future careers.
Dave Gorman, the Automotive Tech Program Supervisor at the Colorado Springs campus, says, “When an IntelliTec student puts Snap-on training on their resume, that is a big plus.” IntelliTec College chose to partner with Snap-on to offer students a complete and well-rounded curriculum. In addition, IntelliTec provides them with their own set of Snap-on tools, worth approximately $1800. Students receive their tools, which are built to last a lifetime, upon completing the program.
Snap-on allows students multiple certification opportunities. Snap-on Certification is a product-based certification for technicians, educators and students who want to learn about the newest Snap-on equipment and be competent in the automotive industry. Students will train on Snap-on diagnostic platforms and receive guidance and direction from IntelliTec’s staff of Snap-on certified instructors. Upon completion of the program, students can be prepared to take various S-Tech Certification exams such as Modis, Vantage Pro, Shop-Key and Solus.
IntelliTec’s partnership with Snap-on means students will always be learning on the most up-to-date scan tools. S-Tech or “Snap-on Technology” refers to the scan tool platforms. These advanced and complex tools are used to help in diagnosing today’s extremely intricate, multi-computerized automobiles. Mr. Gorman explains, “Snap-on is constantly updating their scan tools (platforms), so the latest platforms are always in motion, updated or even replaced with a new model.”
IntelliTec’s Automotive Technician program offers personalized, hands-on training from ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) and Snap-on certified instructors. Most graduates of the program will have obtained automotive industry certifications like ASE and Snap-on, proving that they have the skills, knowledge and abilities that are most in demand by employers in the industry. The Automotive Technician program with Snap-on Partnership is also offered at IntelliTec College campuses in Grand Junction and Pueblo.
